SMS Messages

What are SMS messages

Short Message Service (SMS) is the standard technology used to send text-only messages between mobile devices. Unlike internet-based messaging apps, SMS relies on your phone's cellular network, meaning it works anywhere you have cell service without needing a Wi-Fi or data connection

When to use SMS messaging in your journeys

Use SMS messages for simple, urgent, or universally accessible communications (like shipping updates or short alerts), and to guarantee delivery without an internet connection.

It works on virtually every mobile phone, including older devices, making it perfect for transactional notifications, OTPs (One-Time Passwords), and appointment reminders
