MMS Messages
What are MMS messages
Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) content lets you send multimedia files, such as images, audio, phone contacts, and video files. MMS message size limits depend on the provider, because MMS messages do not have one standard maximum size.
When to use MMS messaging in your journeys
Use MMS messages in a campaign when the message needs more visual or media impact than a standard SMS can provide.
MMS lets you include multimedia content, such as images, audio, videos, or contact cards. This makes it useful for campaigns where the visual element helps explain the message, promote an offer, or create a stronger brand experience.
Common reasons to use MMS include:
- Showing a product image, promotion, coupon, or event visual.
- Making a campaign more engaging than plain text.
- Sharing richer information without relying only on words.
- Supporting time-sensitive offers whera a visual can quickly capture attention.
- Sending branded content that feels more polished than a basic SMS.
