NextGen Advent Calendar
AVAILABLE TO ALL CUSTOMERS
Background
Previously, Grow users could only create Advent Calendar campaigns using the older Macro Experience Reveal Campaign type. While functional, this legacy version required more manual configuration and was not fully optimized for mobile responsiveness or modern UI flexibility.
Solution
The new NextGen Advent Calendar Experience delivers a modern, responsive, and streamlined approach to daily reveal campaigns. Built with the NextGen architecture, this Experience type is optimized for all devices, loads faster, and uses a simplified setup process that requires less configuration effort while offering more design flexibility.
This update empowers marketers to create dynamic, day-by-day engagement campaigns — from holiday calendars to countdowns or daily challenges — in just a few guided steps.
What it looks like in Grow
You can now find the Advent Calendar under Browse by Experience Type → Giveaways in the Experience Library.
-
Create the Experience — Follow the setup wizard to name your campaign, select entry options, and apply a theme.
-
Configure Promotions — Add doors for each day, define unlock dates, and choose content for closed and opened doors (text, images, CTAs, or links to detail pages).
-
Build & Design Pages — Use the Page Builder to customize your pages and content layout, using drag-and-drop modules.
-
Publish — Launch your Advent Calendar as an embedded iframe on a web page, as a lightbox pop-up or as a microsite.
This new Advent Calendar replaces the legacy Reveal Campaign model with a faster, fully responsive NextGen solution that's easier to manage and delivers a more engaging interaction for your audience.
