Define Scheduled Job Eligibility
For some Scheduled Job Action types, the platform allows you to assign one or more Segments to the Scheduled Job. When the Job executes, only the Members selected by the Segment will be included in the Job's audience.
The ability to assign a Segment to a Scheduled Job is available only for the following Action types: Grant Anniversary, Send Expiry Notifier, Submit Activity, and Update Attribute.
To define the eligibility of a Scheduled Job:

Select Admin from the top navigation bar, then select Jobs > Scheduled Jobs from the side navigation menu. The Scheduled Jobs screen is displayed. By default, List View is selected.

Search for and select the desired Scheduled Job (see Search for a Scheduled Job for more information on the available search options). The Scheduled Job Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected by default.

Select the Eligibility tab.

The Included Segments section is used to make the Scheduled Job eligible only to Members in the selected Segment (or Segments). In this section, from the drop-down menu, select the desired Segment. Optionally you can type all or part of the Segment name to filter this menu.

Click Add Segment. The selected Segment is displayed within the Included Segments section.

Repeat the above steps as needed. If you add multiple Segments, a Member must be in only ONE of the selected Segments to be eligible for this Scheduled Job. That is, multiple Included Segments are joined with an OR operator.

Optionally, to remove an Included Segment, click the Remove icon.
Note: The Excluded Segments section described below is available only for Submit Activity and Update Attribute Scheduled Job Actions.

The Excluded Segments section is used to make the Scheduled Job ineligible to Members in the selected Segment (or Segments). In this section, from the drop-down menu, select the desired Segment. Optionally you can type all or part of the Segment name to filter this menu.

Click Add Segment. The selected Segment is displayed within the Excluded Segments section. If you add both an Included Segment and an Excluded Segment to the Scheduled Job, the Excluded Segment takes priority. Therefore, if a Member is selected by both the Included and the Excluded Segment, that Member will be ineligible for this Scheduled Job.
