View Triggered Action Statistics

The Loyalty platform maintains a log of every execution of a Triggered Action, including whether the Triggered Action executed successfully or failed.

Note: The Triggered Action Statistics feature is an optional feature that must be enabled in your account. Speak with your Zeta team for assistance with enabling this feature.

To view the execution statistics for a Triggered Action:

  1. Select Rules from the top navigation bar, then select Triggered Actions from the side navigation menu. The Triggered Actions screen is displayed.

  2. Optionally, search for the desired Triggered Action (see Search for a Triggered Action for more information on the available search options).

  3. Next to the desired Triggered Action, click the Statistics icon (this icon is displayed only if the Triggered Action is Published). The Triggered Action Statistics pop-up window is displayed.

  4. Using the buttons at the top of the window, select a reporting period: Past 1 Day (default), Past 1 Week, or Past 1 Month. The platform displays the execution statistics for the selected reporting period. The platform displays the total number of Triggered Action executions (Completed), the number of successful executions (Successes), and the number of failed executions (Failed).

  5. If a Triggered Action failed within the selected reporting period, a Failure Details section is displayed beneath the main execution statistics. For each failed execution, the platform displays the date / time of the execution, the parameters used in the execution, the resulting error message, and the full JSON payload. Optionally, click Retry to re-run a failed Triggered Action execution.

Note: The platform retains the details of failed Triggered Action executions for 60 days, then the details are purged.

  1. When finished, click Close.

Failure Alerts

Optionally, you can enroll in a daily "Failure Alert" email notification. This notification provides a daily summary of the failed executions for a Triggered Action. If the Triggered Action did not fail on a given day, then the platform will not send the notification that day.

To enroll in the Failure Alert notification for a Triggered Action:

  1. Navigate to the Triggered Action Statistics pop-up window as described above.

  2. In the Failure Alerts section, toggle on Email a daily summary when this trigger has failures.

  3. In the Send Alerts To field, enter one or more recipient email addresses separated with a space or comma, or press Enter.

  4. Click Save Alert Settings.
