View a Tier Scheme

To view the details and configuration properties of a Tier Scheme:

  1. Select Rules from the top navigation bar, then select Tier Schemes from the side navigation menu. The Tier Schemes screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Tier Scheme (see Search for a Tier Scheme for more information on the available search options). The Tier Scheme Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected by default.

  1. The header and the tabs on this screen allow you to view various configuration details. See below for details on each of these areas.

The header area of the Tier Scheme Details screen displays many of the high-level properties of this Tier Scheme, including its name, description, status, and effectivity period. From this area, you can edit or delete an existing Tier Scheme.

Also from the header area, you can define the effectivity period for the Tier Scheme. See Define Tier Scheme Effectivity Period for more information.

Also from the header area, you can publish or archive a Tier Scheme.

Definition Tab

The Definition tab of the Tier Scheme Details screen displays all the Tiers defined for this Tier Scheme. If a Tier Scheme has multiple Tier Tables, all the Tier Tables will use the same set of Tiers. The rules or thresholds for achieving a particular Tier can be different from one Tier Table to another, but the Tiers themselves are always the same.

For details on how to create a Tier, see Define the Tiers in a Tier Scheme.

From the Definition tab, you can also edit or delete an existing Tier.

When a Member successfully attains a new Tier, you can optionally grant them a Reward. For details on this process, see Assign a Reward to a Tier.

Base Rules Tab

The Base Rules tab of the Tier Scheme Details screen displays the Tier Table (or Tables) defined for this Tier Scheme. Each row in a Tier Table corresponds to a Tier (defined on the Definitions tab). Each column in a Tier Table corresponds to a condition or threshold required for a Member to attain a Tier.

For details on how to create a Tier Table, see Create a Tier Table.

Optionally, you can have multiple Tier Tables defined within a Tier Scheme. For details on how to search for an existing Tier Table, see Search for a Tier Table.

The header area within a Tier Table displays many of the high-level properties of the Tier Table, including its name and description. From this area, you can edit or delete an existing Tier Table.

Each Tier Table has its own status. From the header area within a Tier Table, you can publish or archive a Tier Table.

Each Tier Table has its own effectivity period that controls when the Tier Table is considered to be live. From the header area within a Tier Table, you can set its effectivity period. See Define Tier Table Effectivity Period for more information.

The Base Rules tab is also used to define Basic Tier Rules. A Basic Tier Rule is used to define a simple Metric threshold or condition required for a given Tier. See Create a Basic Tier Rule for more details. From this tab, you can also edit or delete an existing Basic Tier Rule.

Advanced Rules Tab

The Advanced Rules tab of the Tier Scheme Details screen is used to define Advanced Tier Rules. Advanced Tier Rules allow you to define more complex expressions or conditions than what is possible with a Basic Tier Rule. Advanced Tier Rules are typically used for temporary or one-off promotions beyond the basic Tier Table. Advanced Tier Rules support the use of expiration dates, as well as conditional logic that limits Members to which the Advanced Tier Rule applies. See Create an Advanced Tier Rule for more details.

From this tab, you can also edit or delete an existing Advanced Tier Rule.

Each Advanced Tier Rule has its own status. From this tab, you can publish or archive an Advanced Tier Rule.

Each Advanced Tier Rule has its own effectivity period that controls when the Advanced Tier Rule is considered to be live. From this tab, you can set its effectivity period. See Define Advanced Tier Rule Effectivity Period for more information.

Settings Tab

The Settings tab of the Tier Scheme Details screen is used to configure several high-level Tier Scheme settings.

For details on how to configure these settings, see Configure Tier Scheme Settings.
