Program Setting Category - Redemption Controls

The Redemption Controls Program Setting Category includes the following Program Settings.

Redemption Metric Limit

The platform allows you to set limits at a Reward-level that control how many times that Reward can be redeemed within a specific time period. The Redemption Metric Limit Program Setting allows you to define a program-wide cap on Reward Redemptions. This Program Setting determines how many Metrics your Members can spend on Reward Redemptions within a specific time period.

Note: Once this Program Setting is configured, you can optionally specify which Rewards count towards this Program Setting; see Configure Reward Advanced Options for details.

This program-wide cap is based on total Member Metrics being redeemed, regardless of the mechanism used to redeem the Reward. This same Program Setting applies to Reward Redemptions initiated through API calls, imports, or Triggered Actions, or handled manually through the platform's user interface. This cap does not apply to Rewards that were granted for free as Awards, as the Member did not redeem any Metrics to gain the Reward.

To configure this Program Setting.

1. On the Program Settings screen, search for and select the Redemption Metric Limit setting.

2. In the Redemption Metric Limit, enter the maximum Metric cap. This cap applies across all Rewards that are configured to use this Program Setting. To disable this feature, leave this field blank.

3. From the Interval drop-down menu, select the time period: Hourly, Daily, Monthly, or Yearly.

4. From the Time Zone drop-down menu, select the time zone to use.

5. Click Save.
