View a Custom Object

To view the details and configuration properties of a Custom Object:

  1. Select Program from the top navigation bar, then select Custom Objects from the side navigation menu. The Custom Objects screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Custom Object (see Search for a Custom Object for more information on the available search options). The Custom Object Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected.

  1. The header and the tabs on this screen allow you to view various configuration details. See below for details on each of these areas.

The header area of the Custom Object Details screen displays many of the high-level properties of this Custom Object, including its name, status, and Custom Object Family. For more information on editing these properties, see Edit Custom Object Properties.

Also from the header area, you can publish, archive, or delete a Custom Object.

Also from the header area, you can define the effectivity period for the Custom Object. For more information, see Set Custom Object Effectivity Period.

Definition Tab

The Definition tab of the Custom Object Details screen allows you to configure the definition of the Custom Attribute. This tab is separated into the following sections.

Attributes Section

The Attributes section of the Definition tab is used to specify the Attributes that make up the Custom Object table. For more information, see Add an Attribute to a Custom Object.

Also from this section, you can edit and delete the existing Attributes in the Custom Object.

Key and Primary Attributes Section

The Key and Primary Attributes section of the Definition tab is used to define the Primary Key for the table. For more information, see Define the Primary Key.

Also from this section, you can optionally select up to five Primary Attributes. For more information, see Select Primary Attributes.

Sub Objects Section

The Sub Objects section of the Definition tab is used to create a "child" data structure beneath the current "parent" Custom Object table. For more information see Working with Sub Objects.

Access Tab

The Access tab of the Custom Object Details screen allows you to specify what other areas of the Loyalty platform should be able to access this Custom Object. For more information, see Define Custom Object Access Rules.
