Loyalty Event-Triggered Transactional Journeys with Selligent Setup Guide
Overview
Triggered Actions are a type of rule within the Loyalty platform that are used to monitor changes to a Member and to execute a specific action when a specific condition is satisfied, such as sending a message or updating a Member Profile.
A Triggered Action contains a definition, a condition, and an action. The definition specifies what should be monitored. When the definition occurs, the platform checks the condition (the use of a condition is optional). If the condition is satisfied, the action is invoked.
Loyalty Triggered Actions can be configured to send messages via Selligent when processing Activities, Metric changes, or Tier changes. The Triggered Action will send any included configured personalization data in a request to Selligent to create or update the Selligent profile associated with the Member.
Required Loyalty Setup
For Loyalty to send messages via Selligent, you must set up an integration in Loyalty.
Prerequisites
Before accessing Loyalty, you must complete the steps outlined in the Required Selligent Setup Guide.
Launch Loyalty

Launch the Loyalty module from the Modules section in Selligent.

Log in with your Loyalty credentials. Note that if you do not have credentials, reach out to your Zeta team to request them.
Create a Connection Profile
Connectors are used to integrate the Loyalty platform with other Zeta applications, and with a wide range of third-party platforms. To integrate Loyalty with another platform, you must create a reusable asset called a Connection Profile. The Connection Profile contains all the information needed to manage the integration, such as API endpoints, login credentials, and so forth.
For details on how to create a Connection Profile, see Create a Connection Profile. When creating the Connection Profile, select the following options:

Connector Type: Selligent
A Selligent Connection Profile contains the configuration properties needed for Loyalty to connect to your Selligent account. For more information on these properties, see Connection Profile Configuration - Selligent.
Create a Triggered Action
Once a Selligent Connection Profile is configured, it can be used in a Triggered Action to create or update Member Profile data and to send email messages via Selligent.

When configuring the Triggered Action, select the following configuration options:

Action Type: Select Send Message via Selligent.
The Send Message via Selligent Action type allows you to specify the Selligent Journey that you want to deploy. For more information on configuring a Send Message via Selligent Triggered Action, see Triggered Action Type - Send Message via Selligent.
After you have created and configured the Triggered Action, you must publish it. See Publish a Triggered Action for more information.
After you publish the Triggered Action, you must deploy Triggered Action metadata. See Deploy Triggered Action Metadata for more information.
