View a News Feed

To view the details and configuration properties of a News Feed:

  1. Select Communities from the top navigation bar, then select News Feed from the side navigation menu. The News Feeds screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired News Feed (see Search for a News Feed for more information on the available search options). The News Feed Details screen is displayed, with the Posts tab displayed by default.

  1. The header and the tabs on this screen allow you to view various configuration details. See below for details on each of these areas.

The header area of the News Feed Details screen displays many of the high-level properties of this News Feed, including its name, description, and public / private setting. For more information on editing these properties, see Edit News Feed Properties.

Also from the header area, you can delete a News Feed. For more information, see Delete a News Feed.

Posts Tab

The Posts tab of the News Feed Details screen displays the News Feed stream of posts, with the most recent posts at the top.

From this tab, you can create your own posts. See Create a Post for more information.

From this tab, you can also manage posts, including posts made by Members, or posts generated based on Member actions. See Manage News Feed Posts for more information.

Eligibility Tab

The Eligibility tab of the News Feed Details screen allows you to limit access to a News Feed to only the Members selected by a Segment or at a Place. See Target a News Feed for more information.

Advanced Options Tab

The Advanced Options tab of the News Feed Details screen allows you to configure a range of advanced properties related to the News Feed. See Configure News Feed Advanced Options for more information.
