Configure Event Definition
An Event in the Loyalty platform refers to an in-person experience or a special occasion that Members can attend, such as store openings, product launches, classes, community gatherings, or concerts. This article describes the configuration options available within the Event, such as when and where the Event occurs.

Effectivity Periods
Events are governed by an overall Effectivity Period that controls when, and for long, the Event is visible to Members on your website or app.
In addition to the overall Effectivity Period for the Event, the platform allows you to set more granular schedules that control when a Member can respond to the Event (called the Response Period).
See Define Event Operational Ranges for more information.
