Configure Event Advanced Options
The Advanced Options tab of the Event Details screen contains a variety of different features and options, organized into sections. These sections are described below in more detail.
To edit the options within a specific section:

Select Communities from the top navigation bar, then select Communities > Events from the side navigation menu. The Events screen is displayed. By default, List View is selected.

Search for and select the desired Event (see Search for an Event for more information on the available search options). The Event Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab displayed by default.

Select the Advanced Options tab.

Click Edit (being sure to click the edit button within the desired section that you want to modify). The Edit Event pop-up window is displayed.

Enter the desired configuration options.

Click Save.
Limits Section
This section is used to define various limitations or restrictions on this Events.

Allow API Responses: If enabled, allows the platform to reference this Event in API responses. Typically, this feature should be enabled.

Overall Limit: Define a maximum limit (across all Members) of Event Responses that can be created within a specified time period (or all time). Uncheck No Limit to enable this feature. Enter the limit, and select the time period from the drop-down menu (for example, "1 per month").

Maximum Responses per Member: Define a maximum limit that this Event can be completed by each Member within a specified time period (or all time). Uncheck No Limit to enable this feature. Enter the limit, and select the time period from the drop-down menu (for example "1 per week").

Response Proximity Limit: Define a physical radius around the Event's selected Place. A Member must be within this radius to generate an Event Response. Uncheck No Proximity Limit to enable this feature. Enter the radius (in meters). Note you must assign a Place to this Event to define a proximity limit. See Configure Event Definition for details on how to assign a Place to the Event.

Limit Per Recurrence: If the Event has a recurring schedule, you can optionally apply the configured limits to each separate occurrence of the Event. To enable this feature, check Limit Per Recurrence. Note that this feature is enabled only if the Event has a recurring scheduled defined. See Configure Event Definition for details on how to define a recurring schedule.
Business Section
This section allows you to assign a monetary value to a Event Response.

Business Value: Enter the monetary value of the Event Response.
Prize Section
As part of the Event's properties, you can define a number of Metrics that a Members gains if they attend this Event. The Prize section of the Advanced Options tab allows you to configure an additional prize that can optionally be something other than Metrics. Prizes are split into a Primary Prize (which is always awarded), and a Secondary Prize (which is randomly awarded).

Primary Prize: The Primary Prize must be a Metric. Enter the amount of the prize, and select a Metric. If you entered a Metric prize as part of the Event's properties, this value will already be populated here.

Secondary Prize. The Secondary Prize can be one of the following:

Metric: Enter the amount of the prize, and select a Metric.

Reward Award: Select a Reward. Optionally, check Auto Claim. If checked, the Award will automatically move to a status of Claimed.

Reward Contest: Select a Contest-type Reward.

Secondary Prize Frequency: Determine the chances of winning the Secondary Prize. Either enter an interval of winning (for example, every 100th Event attendance), or enter a probability of winning as a percentage.
Message Section
This section allows you to select a Message to send when a Member checks in at the Event. From the Message drop-down menu, select the desired Message.
